Divisions


The daily execution of the MRDC and its subsidiary companies' business operations are successfully carried out by various departments and divisions with the company. As a result of corporate restructure in 2009, two departments were created: Commercial Services and Clients and Technical Services.
  • Commercial Services

    The Commercial Services department consists of three divisions: Accounts and Administration, Investment and Treasury divisions. This department is responsible for:

    • Accounts and Administration

      Preparation of quarterly and yearly Financial Statements, Management and Supervision of Audit Accounts, Payable and Payroll, attend JVP Financial Committees, provision of administrative, security and IT support and provision of human resources services.

    • Treasury

      Timely payment of joint venture cash calls, ensuring compliance with statutory returns, providing internal business support and providing financial services to the company and its stakeholders.

    • Investment

      Providing business advice and managing the investments of the landowner companies under the Management of MRDC.

  • Technical and Client Services

    This is another vital department of the company that comprises of three divisions: External Affairs, Technical and Legal divisions: This department is responsible for:

    • External Affairs

      Corporate vision of the company and relations with the key stakeholders, the State, Joint Venture Partners, landowner and the community. It is also responsible for the communication of the Government policy and project developments to the beneficiaries.

    • Technical

      Management and monitoring of all technical requirements of all existing projects.

    • Legal

      Provision of legal counsel to the Board and Management and is also responsible for the secretarial matters of the MRDC Board and Boards of subsidiary companies
