“As a leading corporate company in the country, MRDC will continue to look at how we will assist the National Fraud and Anti –Corruption Division Police better do their in the future again.” National Fraud and Anti –Corruption Division Director, Detective Inspector Timothy Gitua thanked MRDC for the assistance and said it was timely as it would ease the burden on the existing machines that are shared by the 35 officers that work under him.

He also commended MRDC for seeing firsthand the hardship that the directorate goes through to ensure that the whole country was served. Mr Gitua also said that with the rising fraud and corruption cases, the computers and the laptop would ensure that there were reports filed on time and stored safely.

He said a recent meeting of police officers was told that half of the country’s budget was lost through systematic fraud and the value of money stolen through fraud had tripled over the past couple of years. “What MRDC has given will help us address these chronic problems and ensure we attended to them and filed reports professionally,” he said.
