A population census is very important in order to deliver services effectively to the project area landowners. This was the sentiments of MRDC Managing Director Augustine Mano as he continues to steer the organisation towards effectively managing landowner funds so the benefits are seen and felt on the ground.

The Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) is confident that landowners from the PNGLNG Pipeline segments will start to receive their long awaited benefits from the US$19 billion PNG LNG project before the year ends.

The Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) has successfully delivered a second director elect from the PNGLNG Pipeline licence No.4’s segments four (4) and five (5) area in Kutubu, to the board of the trust company Gas Resources PNGLNG Pipeline Limited, last Friday (19 April, 2019).

Landowners beneficiaries of the PNGLNG Pipeline are a step closer to receiving their long awaited benefits from the PNGLNG project as the Mineral Resources Development Company (MRDC) pushes on to set up clan bank accounts and have the board of the trust company in place.

The four (4) village communities surrounding the PNGLNG Plant site in Central Province will now have easy access to basic health services with the opening of a brand new Level 2 Community Health Post in Porebada village.
